Good Beginner Sessions For The 8 Coil Shakti




Two-Phase 8 Coil Shakti Sessions



These are good for beginners because they bring you to some of the most effective sessions without too much personal experimentation.


The feelgood session has generated more reports of success with Shakti than any other session design. It's designed as a mood enhancement session, and like aspirin, it doesn't have much effect if you already feel good. The best single guide in deciding if this session will be good for you is how you feel in the morning. If you are 'not a morning person', and prone to sadness, anger or fear, then the feelgood session may be a good place to start.
(Note that the feelgood session is not a treatment for mental disorders)


The altered states sessions are designed to create altered states of consciousness, and there are several to choose from. These are also suggested for those who want to use Shakti to enhance meditation or the effects of other mind machines.

All of these sessions are based on the principle that building up activity in one part of the briain, followed by suddenly switching the signal to another location, and/or changing it. This is the 'architecture' used in the well known studies using the "God Helmet" developed by Koren & Persinger.

The feelgood session is a good one to begin with, and following a normal session schedule, it can help to prepare for the altered states sessions.

There is only one feelgood session, but there are several Altered States sessions. The one closest to the one used in the "God Helmet" experiements is marked for easy access. However, each brain is different and here, some personal experimentation is needed to find the most effective session for you.
